The Personnel Recovery Analyst will assist in the collection, processing, analysis, dissemination, integration and archiving of personnel recovery related observations, insights, lessons, and tactics techniques and procedures from training venues, and operations. Organize data collected on personnel recovery activities from individual observations, after action reports, oral histories, debriefings, etc. and analyze data to identify trends, compliance with current policy, doctrine, and tactics, techniques, and procedures. Provide analysis on all aspects of personnel recovery to establish support for, identify issues with, or shortfalls in, current practices and make recommendations on further action.

The Personnel Recovery Analyst will maintain site currency, making necessary changes to keep the site current and coordinate with the Joint Staff to request software updates and resolve any Personnel Recovery Joint Lessons Learned Information System (PRJLLIS) malfunctions. Focal point for all data uploads to the PRJLLIS. Ensure all data uploaded to the PRJLLIS has been properly vetted and staffed for approval to upload to include proper classification and Foreign Disclosure Approval. When required, coordinate and initiate all Consolidated Management Tool (CMT) and Consolidated Review Board (CRB) requests with the Joint Staff and system software engineers.

The Personnel Recovery Analyst will support preparation of a Search and Rescue Satellite Aided (SARSAT) Doctrine, Organization, Training, Material, Leadership and Education, Personnel, Facilities and Policy (DOTmLPF-P) Change Recommendation (DCR) to meet specific requirements in support of the mission using JPRA-identified research materials and associated data.

Desired Qualifications

  1. Active Secret clearance (DOD)
  2. Two years experience at one of the following commands: Service Component, MACOM/MAJCOM, Service, Combatant Command, or joint/service agency or organization focused in the field of Personnel Recovery.
  3. Staff experience.
  4. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to write accurate concise documents.
  5. Recent experience with The Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS)
  6. Recent experience with Doctrine, Organization, Training, Material, Leadership and Education, Personnel, Facilities and Policy (DOTmLPF-P) and/or Personnel Recovery Joint Lessons Learned Information System (PRJLLIS)
  7. Able to perform and apply statistical analysis in the development of lessons learned and other designated research projects
  8. Experience in operations, research and systems analysis with strong skills in analysis techniques and the management/organization of collected data
  9. Ability to develop and present training to a diverse audience.
